Dr. Jerry Kwasnik, is a veteran in the field of Radiation Safety. He presently works for the State of New Hampshire in the area of Homeland Security but prior to that he was involved with commercial nuclear power (23 years) and the reprocessing of DOD/US Navy nuclear fuel (3 years) is our guest this week. Exactly how safe are nuclear plants? Are they protected against terrorism? What really happens to nuclear waste? We'll find out what part nuclear energy will play in our future and perhaps learn things that our government won't tell us.
