"ROMANCE FOR WOMEN...
And For ALL MANKIND"

Last Week's Quick News

  • Last week, Gov. Mark Sanford apologized to his Cabinet for having the affair with an Argentinean woman. In response, his Cabinet members said, “An apology is not good enough — we want photos.”

  • Monday, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg stated, "The garbage men in New York City will be allowed to wear shorts this summer." This is all part of Mayor Bloomberg's plan to beautify the city. Resident's immediate response was, "We have garbage men?"

  • A British furniture company was caught trying to slip advertisements into Twitter by linking them to the Iranian election crisis. Probably the most shameless had to be, “Tired of all the unrest? Try our Serta Perfect Sleeper!”

  • In Sweden, a new law was passed that allows Swedish women to go topless in public swimming pools. When it came to a vote, half the politicians voted “Yes” and the other half voted “Hell Yes.”

  • Mahmoud Ahmadinejad held an election victory party. At the party, he thanked the 148 percent of the people who voted for him.

    ....AND FINALLY

  • When the U.S. soccer team upset Spain to advance in the finals it was trilling news for American soccer fans . . . they both went crazy.
